Draft — not yet reviewed
This text was drafted for David Strouk and has not been reviewed or approved by him or by a lawyer. Bracketed fields still need real values. Until then, treat this page as a working draft rather than a binding statement.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller for this website is [legal entity name — to be completed], of [business address — to be completed]. Contact: hello@mimu.sh.
This policy covers mimu.sh only. Each product listed on this site is a separate service on its own domain with its own privacy policy. If you buy something, the policy of that product applies to that transaction.
2. What this site does not do
To be specific, because most sites cannot say this:
- No cookies are set. This site sets no cookies of its own, for any purpose, including analytics and advertising. You will not see a cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no pixels, no session recording, no heatmaps, no fingerprinting.
- No accounts and no forms. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to fill in.
- No advertising and no data sales. Your data is never sold, rented or shared for marketing.
- No third-party fonts. Typefaces are served from this domain, so loading a page does not tell a font provider that you visited.
3. What is processed anyway
Server logs
This site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel records technical information when your browser requests a page: IP address, timestamp, the URL requested, HTTP status, user-agent string and referring URL. This happens at the infrastructure level and is necessary for the site to be delivered at all, to keep it secure, and to diagnose faults.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating and securing the service (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Retention: as set by Vercel’s own operational log retention. We do not build profiles from these logs and do not combine them with anything else.
Email you send us
If you email hello@mimu.sh, we receive your address, your message, and whatever you choose to include. It is used to answer you and kept for as long as needed for that correspondence and any resulting business record. Legal basis: legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or performance of a contract where one exists.
4. Processors
| Who | What for | What they see |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. | Hosting and content delivery | Request logs, including IP address |
| Email provider | Delivering mail sent to our contact address | Message contents and sender address |
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under the transfer safeguards in their own data-processing terms.
5. External links
Following a link from this site — to a product, a GitHub repository or anywhere else — takes you to a service with its own privacy policy. We have no control over what those sites collect. Nothing on this site sends your information to them before you click.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive a portable copy, and complain to your data-protection authority. Because this site holds essentially nothing beyond server logs and any email you chose to send, most requests are answered quickly.
Exercise any of these by emailing hello@mimu.sh. We will respond within one month.
7. Children
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.
8. Changes
If this policy changes — for instance if analytics are ever added — the effective date at the top of this page changes with it, and the change is described here. Adding any tracking would be announced on this page before it went live.
